What do you get to do in this position?

• The main role of this position is to support projects and activities with our external suppliers.
• Support new product introductions, supplier development activities related to
  manufactured components.
• Lead quality culture with external suppliers.
• Lead internal/external customer complaints with problem solving methologies as 8D, A3, Lean Six Sigma Projects.
• Drive process robustness through PFMEA, process control plans and poka yoke/jidoka
  solutions.
• Monitor Supplier Quality performance at the plant level and report it.
• Lead suppliers process audits.
• Deploy projects to increase productivity and process improvements and utilize digital technology with our contract manufacturers.
• Pilot the qualification of the products (finished goods) through PPAP process.
• Lead and drive continuos improvements with external suppliers. 

Qualifications

This job might be for you if:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial).
• 6 + years experience with manufacturing quality, manufacturing engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with 8D problem solving methodology, tool utilization (5Why, fishbone (cause and effect), etc.)
• Six Sigma certification highly desired.
• Great communication and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated analytical skills with data, problem resolution, project management.
• Strong desire to work with people, on the manufacturing floor and with customer interface, excellent follow-up and execution skills.
• Experience with PPAP qualifications and suppliers.
• Advanced English
