We are looking for a Supplier Quality Development Engineer. In this role you will drive supplier continuous improvement activities, audits and assure quality level of our suppliers through quality control procedures. You will work on improving supplier accuracy and balancing supplier capabilities. You will also monitor quality of specifications to our suppliers, securing Tetra Pak design in our supply chain.The position is based in Cuautitlan, Mexico State, Mexico, but you will work with a global team to achive gobal goals in the company.You will travel around 40% of your time.Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
As Supplier Quality Development Engineer, you will:
- Assure quality performance level of the suppliers.
- Secure parts delivery quality following Tetra Pak Parts Validation process
- Supply Chain Quality Control maintenance
- Prevent and eradicate Supplier failures.
- Coordinate efficient engineering changes across Tetra Pak supply chain.
- Conduct and drive supplier audits and improvements
- Proficient in English and Spanish Language. (written as well as spoken.)
- You will travel around 40% of your time.
- Bachelor or Engineering degree, preferably in mechanical, industrial or related
- 5 years of experience in experience on Supplier Quality and/or development in manufacturing industry or similar experience on process engineering / project management in food industry with a background in quality systems
- Experience in parts validation following APQP process and continuous improvement programs as WCM (World Class Manufacturing) and Six Sigma.
- Strong skills and efficient abilities on Problem Solving situations and challenges; Strong skills in data analysis and deployment
- Stakeholder Management in project/product engineering, supply management and logistic teams
- To be proficient and successful in the role it is required independent and autonomous working attitude.
- Preferably, you have previous experience from a large multinational company, or maybe from a consultant organization.
- You are an advanced user of MS Office 365 collaboration tools, Power BI, familiar with AutoCad, SAP environment and normal quality control tool
