We are currently seeking a self-driven Supply Chain Manager with a passion for procurement to join our team. This position will oversee the End-to-End Supply Chain for Contract Manufacturers, lead the inventory ramp-up / ramp down of manufacturing transitions and supervise the Supply Chain readiness for manufacturing deployments. The role will work jointly with the Virtual Factory team, the NAM Supply Chain Team, the NAM Procurement team, Demand Planning team and NAM Deployment team. The Supply Chain Manager will share responsibility of the upstream/downstream planning along with the External Manufacturing Site Leader. This position will report to the External Manufacturing Director and will be based in the GSC Monterrey Campus - PIIT / MDIC.

What will you do:

  • Organize forecast discussions for the different Contract Manufacturers.
  • Align forecasts to production plans and supervise Contract Manufacturer MRPs.
  • Evaluate Contract Manufacturer VSM and execute de-risk plans.
  • Evaluate growth plans vs Contract Manufacturer Supply Chain capabilities.
  • Participate on SAM audits animated by Virtual Factory Team.
  • Participate as key stakeholder for manufacturing transfers related to Contract Manufacturers Supply Chain readiness and coordinate activities to close gaps when needed.
  • Supervise Contract Manufacturers upstream & downstream planning.
  • Supervise Contract Manufacturer data readiness for manufacturing transfers.
  • Participate on Productivity events driven by Procurement team.
  • Participate on Inventory discussions, from FG at DCs to excess inventory at the Contract Manufacturers.
  • Follow up on poor performance vendors related to Contract Manufacturers Supply Chain.
  • Coordinate Physical Inventories for inventory in consignment.
  • Supervise forecast signals to Schneider factories when acting as vendors for Contract Manufacturers.
Qualifications
  • Fluency in English (written and business speaking).
  • Associate's or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience on Supply Chain roles, preferably Scheduling, Manufacturing Operations, Planning, Warehouse Management and Logistics.
  • Proven experience using SAP Material Management modules.
  • Proven experience with ERP migrations.
  • Preferred experience on Make-to-Stock environment.
  • Proven experience managing teams and working on a matrix organization.
  • Proficiency on excel use.
  • Process oriented, with disciplined process management skills.
  • Self-initiative and aptitude for process/quality improvement.
  • Strong influencing skills and team work, experience developing high performing teams.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Advanced English.
