Responsibilities

The Opportunity

The role will be accountable for supporting 8-12 Supply Chain Planning Analysts who will improve service for the for Frito-Lay US. This position will report to Supply Chain  Distribution Planning Service Manager. Responsibilities include partnering with field operations to deliver Fill Rate, Forecast Accuracy, and Optimal Product Flow within the Supply Chain; whilst improving Supply Chain Planning performance.  These roles will engage in regular consultation with the Business unit teams and other Customer Service leaders.  Systems knowledge and technical enhancement will be expected along with coordination with Business Unit technical support. Delivery of optimization and efficiency gains within the SC Planning team and Best Practice sharing between teams is expected.

Exceptional time management, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills are critical for this role. These roles will additionally require building critical relationships with key team members both internally within the sector, the Global SC team, and across Business Units.

As PFNA DC Service Coordinator your responsibilities would consist of

The Supply Chain Planinng Coordinator will a lead teams of Supply Chain Planning analysts who will support DC Service processes for the FLNA field teams.  These roles are responsible for delivering gold standard customer service by ensuring their teams leverages best practices, improve efficiencies and results in Supply Chain Planning.  

They will continually optimizes staffing, schedules and activities that enable timely and seamless Supply Chain Planning across the Supply Chain

  • Coordinate with upstream and downstream teams in generating executable plans to drive fill rate and optimal product flow throughout the service area
  • Application of consistent standard operating procedures to drive continuous improvement
  • Quickly engage with business units to identify, interpret, and set mitigation plans in place to ensure planning will drive fill rate and service.
  • Respond to marketplace demands through an in-depth understanding of order processing practices and complex system technology.
  • Initiate innovation and development of new analytics and business processes to improve service levels and drive efficiency.
  • Identify areas for improvement and close efficiency gaps regarding planning system maintenance, replenishment and promotional planning.
  • Ensure support and engagement with SC Planning Analysts while working with a potentially remote, virtual team.
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Operations Management, Engineering or related filed required.
  • MBA preferred
  • 2 to 5 years of experience at Operations/Plant/Supply Chain Planning experience is a must
  • English is a must (this role will be supporting USA)
  • Proficiency using PC-based applications such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and alternate meeting technology is a must

Skills

  • People management experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Supply Chain Planning in a dynamic Supply Chain
  • Ability to positively influence teams outside of direct responsibility and across multiple business units
  • Proficiency in using technology tools that enable replenishment planning and reporting as well as data and trend analysis
  • Ability to influence leadership and operate in a matrix environment
  • Capable of leading a remote work group and being managed by a remote manager
  • Utilize technical/functional knowledge that creates opportunities and solves business problems
  • Strong strategic ability
  • Ability to identify business issues and generate solutions
  • Self-starter with attention to detail
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
