Enthusiastic, result driven, and analytical Manager Supply Network Planning Whey Portfolio
The Manager Supply Network Planning is together with his team of supply network planners responsible for the optimal supply network plan (operational and tactical horizon) of the full whey portfolio scope of FrieslandCampina Ingredients aiming to maximize the value of our whey. This supply plan is based upon the consolidated demand plans, taking into consideration predefined service level agreements, planning parameters, inventory levels, strategic importance, revenues, margins and costs in order to realize the requested performance at the lowest possible cost. In this role you have a diverse stakeholder field ranging from production, finance, demand management, deliver, procurement and our partners. Besides leading the team and driving the results, part of the role is also planning your own portfolio.

- Master's or bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years experience in S&OP
- Knowledge of Supply Planning processes and S&OP, knowledge of planning systems (SAP/APO/OMP) is preferred
- Good knowledge of and insight to the B2B Ingredients market (Early Life Nutrition and Adult Nutrition specifically) and its customers
- Well-developed understanding of complex supply chain structures, preferably in the food industry and ideally in the dairy industry
- Strong analytical, project management - and stakeholder management skills;
- Pro-active attitude
- Experience in analysing Supply Chain financials & managing scenario's including the assessment of trade-offs
- Able to deal with complexity in a data driven manner
- Full business proficiency in English and Dutch

As a Manager Supply Network Planning your responsibilities presented in headlines:
- Leading the team of supply network planners (circa 4 FTE) responsible for the S&OP plan on short (13 weeks) and mid-term (4-18 months) of the overall whey network:
- whey supply and processing in Veghel, Borculo, Bedum, Workum,
- feed planning,
- whey sales and sourcing,
- whey valorisation and optimisation
- Responsible for optimizing cash, costs and service of FCI whey products in line with our targets
- Responsible for related working capital: whey inventories
- Responsible for preparation of the FCI S&OP: KPIs, S&OP scenarios and decision making within total whey scope.
- Prepare and lead whey related S&OP’s with DFE, Denkavit, bio-S&OP.
- Optimize and implement changes to the supply network, in line with targets and guidelines, while understanding the impact for supply points connected to the hub (e.g. NPD, continuous improvement, network optimization);
- Drive and lead projects to improve the S&OP processes and performance within whey scope and provide support on improvement projects of total FCI S&OP scope
- As part of your role, you will be responsible for planning a part of the whey portfolio yourself, i.e. creating the optimal supply network plan for a part of the whey portfolio based on the latest demand, planning parameters, inventory levels in order to realize the requested performance while maximizing value for FrieslandCampina. You are the linking pin with demand and make to secure an aligned and optimal plan.

In this role you are part of Plan & Deliver team of Ingredients and report to the Supply Network Manager of the Supply Planning team, leading a team of 4 ambitious colleagues. The Plan & Deliver team is an action driven team with a growth mindset to support the requirements of the Ingredients business. Your workplace will be the plant or Amersfoort combined with work days from home.
