  • Provide/obtain advice/guidance and giving assistance on general EHS matters
  • Provide support for & to monitor all aspects of Occupational Health & Safety and Environment specifically Risk Assessments and associated controls
  • Ensure that the relevant EHS requirements of AZDP are effectively applied on the project
  • Assist in the development and review of the EHS aspects of the following documents:  Construction Phase Plans, Method Statement, Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, Environmental Management Plans and Site Waste Management Plans
  • Ensure EHS inductions are prepared and critical EHS information remains current including existing induction packs, posters, notices, signage, registers, procedures etc.
  • Carry out safety inspections in accordance with the company and project requirements and, where possible, close out actions within required timescales
  • Produce EHS objectives from reviews, findings and audits
  • Monitor KPI’s and other indicators (submitting to Client) on a monthly/period basis and provide data to the EHS Manager where required
  • Co-ordinate (in support to EHS partner(s)) project Accident investigations/Incidents/Near Misses/close calls
  • Champion close call reporting and assist the project in managing and monitoring project close calls to ensure that they are tracked, and the associated corrective actions are actioned to the specific person/department to ensure they are closed out adequately
  • Input and monitor EHS action plans where applicable
  • Undertake and support projects traffic management plans (TMP)
  • Support EHS CWI Consortium on trainings, advise, proper regulation comply and AZDP rules.
  • Support and undertake site Client, Partner, EHS engagement meetings as required
  • Support the EHS Manager develop and implement strategies taking into account the business and corporate requirements for managing and continually improving the company’s safety standards
  • Support the EHS Manager with start-up packs for new projects and EHS information remains current including – posters, notices, signage, registers, and procedures.
  • Carry out training sessions/briefings on EHS topics as necessary to the project team (Toolbox Talks) and/or formal trainings when required
  • Monitoring employees and contractors to ensure that activities are undertaken in accordance with agreed – standards (e.g. client, Labor Ministry, Principal Contractor Licensing requirements, 45001,14001,9001), procedures, Work plans/task briefs (Method statements), inspection & test plans
  • Undertake/report EHS inspection of partners and their contractors
  • Deputize for the EHS Manager as necessary
  • Support and maintain internal safety reporting systems
  • Provide EHS support for Consortium Partners where applicable.
