RHI Magnesita is seeking a dynamic Systems Implementation Project Specialist. This role can sit in either York, PA, Tampa, FL, Monterrey, Mexico, or Ramos, Mexico. This role will play a pivotal role in overseeing and driving key initiatives. Your responsibilities will span across project management, change management, and project support for strategic projects within the Americas.
Tasks will include:
- Project Management
- Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, identify and mitigate risks, and oversee project deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to achieve project objectives effectively.
- Change Management
- Drive change initiatives by implementing strategies to facilitate smooth transitions within the organization.
- Assess and address the impact of changes on stakeholders, ensuring buy-in and adoption of new processes or systems.
- Provide guidance and support to teams to navigate through changes, minimizing resistance and maximizing engagement .
- Business Partnering
- Provide operational support to execute project governance within the Americas, including framing new initiatives, organizing and prioritizing the project portfolio.
- Analyze project performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and offer consultative support to other Project Managers.
- Work as sparring partner to the wider Global Project Group for the setup and delivery of projects across the organization
- Support the wider project management community in the design, preparation, and facilitation of project workshops (kick-offs, assessments, workstreams, etc.)
- Project Reviews
- Support the execution of the global projects portfolio by coordinating and conducting the peer-to-peer project cycle reviews: run the formal capture, analysis and remedial action of project-related improvement opportunities found and supporting the implementation of derived recommendations
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business and Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. An MBA or equivalent Project Management postgraduate degree is advantageous
- Fluent in English (daily communications with global stakeholders)
- Valid certifications in Project Management (ex PMP, CAPM, IPMA)
- Valid certifications focused in Agile (ex Agile Certified Practitioner - ACP, Certified Scrum Master - CSM)
- 5+ years of Project Management or consulting, have already worked in large organizations and with medium/high complexity projects
- Acting in strategic management projects in one or more of the following areas: strategy development, business readiness and transformation, performance improvement, optimization, market reviews and capital projects
