Tax Senior

What you will be doing:

Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, both at the federal, state and municipal level. Tasks that involve, among others, the presentation of monthly, annual and informative tax returns, notices, notifications and attention to various requirements related to the matter.
Coordinate and supervise the work of the work team focused on compliance with the various fiscal and legal obligations entrusted to us.
Coordinate the attention of external audits, as far as taxes are concerned, providing the calculations and information requested and following up on the observations.
Assist Inspectors, notifiers and/or personnel of any empowered administrative authority, whether municipal, state or federal, providing the information required and resolving their observations.
Keep up to date with the legal reforms that apply to the operation, providing the area personnel with the accounting and fiscal information necessary to carry out their work correctly.
Carry out the review of the contracts that the Hotel intends to celebrate, making the necessary corrections in accordance with Fairmont's policies, always seeking to protect its economic interests and its assets.
Maintain in the file of each hotel the original current contracts signed by the parties involved.
Monitor contract expirations to verify with the corresponding department the timely renewal of each document.

Your experience and skills include:

• Leadership experience required

• Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders

• Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills

• Undergraduate studies in accounting 

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point / Internet

• Ability to learn new programs.

• Ability to plan, organize and pay attention to detail

• Pro activity, teamwork, able to handle various activities and projects simultaneously
