Capital Markets Trainee/ Finance Trainee

Position summary

The Syndications Operations Intern is responsible for the overall coordination of the activities related to the servicing of syndicated lease and loan activities in the USA.  The Operations Intern will be a point of contact between VFS Global, Investors and Local Management to ensure the highest possible standard of service for the financial partners we are supporting.  This position is reports to the Manager, Treasury Services within the Volvo Financial Services North America (VFS NA) organization Support the operations, back office sales - Process of early terminations. Operational support for contracts, terminations, etc.

The Syndications Operations Intern is responsible for the overall coordination of the activities related to the servicing of syndicated lease and loan activities in the USA.  The Operations Intern will be a point of contact between VFS Global, Investors and Local Management to ensure the highest possible standard of service for the financial partners we are supporting.  This position is reports to the Manager, Treasury Services within the Volvo Financial Services North America (VFS NA) organization.

Education and Experience:

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled and pursuing a 4-year degree in Finance / Business / Economics / Data Analytics at an accredited school
  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • 1-2 years commerce or retail experience a plus
  • Highly motivated, dynamic person who has a knack for detail, organization, patience, and communication with others and is a problem solver
  • Ability to handle high pressure situations and dynamic environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Must work well within a team environment
  • Excellent-time management/organizational skills
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills

Activities:

  • Ensure that all credit and documentation packages are prepared and complete according to the program requirements prior to release to investors.
  • Ensure that all post-funding follow up items are assigned and delivered to investors in accordance with servicing agreements.
  • Coordinate transaction closings with internal and external customers.
  • Support Early Buyout or Re-Purchase process by validation of Investor quotes according to service agreements.
  • Ensure investor reporting is timely and direct follow-up questions to appropriate experts in Business.
  • Ensure investors are meeting their turnaround times in response to modification or A&A requests.
  • Be prepared to work with team to support and ensure Investor and Business goals are achieved.
  • Models The Volvo Way, follows The Code of Conduct and other company policies and procedures as required.
  • Other projects as assigned VFS Collaboration, Contracts - banks.
  • Daily Cash Payments analysis.

Requirements

  • Advanced English C1.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Fresh Graduate in 2023.
  • Full time, 8:00 – 5:30 pm.
  • Possess strong analytical thinking Deeply curious to learn new things.
  • Open to learning from experience and feedback.
  • Have the energy, passion, and perseverance to obtain the best results.
