DirecciónAs the Team Leader of Automation Control Engineers at our Software Competence Center North America located in Querétaro, Mexico, you will play a crucial role in leading and mentoring a group of talented engineers in the software preparation, and commissioning of automation and controls systems involving PLC’s (Programmable Logic Controllers) and industrial robots. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services to our clients. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and schedule the working time of the group of engineers in order to deliver programming services to our internal customers on time and quality.
Develop a training program for Control Engineers and create individual career paths for every member of the team in order to take them to the highest level of expertise. Develop strong relationships with our software automation partners in order to keep the team up to date on the latest technologies. Maintain strong links to Academy institutions with the sole purpose of developing strategies to continuously attract, retain, and develop talent for the group.
Support and develop business opportunities with other global Hahn Automation operations with projects in North America. Requirements Soft Skills: Communication Skills: Strong communication skills in English, and the ability to partner effectively with peers in other countries. Problem Solving: Demonstrate sound judgment and the ability to handle and manage difficult situations with agility (fast thinking).
Flexibility: Be adaptable and willing to travel domestically and internationally as required to support his team during the delivery of services to customers. Teaching: must have skills to transmit knowledge and experiences to the team. Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of young engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. 5 years of proven experience in PLC and robot programming, with expertise in Siemens, Allen Bradley, Fanuc, and Kuka. 3 years of proven experience leading a group of PLC and robot programmers.
Strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Ability to collaborate effectively with international teams.
Willingness to travel domestically and to the USA for project supervision, support, and training. Exceptional flexibility to manage change in project requirements and work overtime as needed. Why Join
