Technical Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Business Analyst with 5+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting tools for enterprise and / or hosted products.

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be a self-starter and change agent working in an agile project team to drive your assigned products forward.

You’ll engage directly with Product Owners and other subject matter experts, to elicit business requirements, use standard templates to document key requirements and key business knowledge, business processes, and engage with team members to identify the highest value change.

About the Role

  • Work closely with Strategy leaders and respective delivery managers / Project Managers to track the cost, all the tasks for Merger & Acquisitions for ongoing statuses of our services on performance.
  • Provide metrics driven dashboards or monthly data to provide the statistical analysis needed to narrate the detail necessary to make informed business decisions for the monthly billing on time.
  • Participate in key meetings and provide updates. Plan study of work problems and procedures, such as information flow.
  • Present findings and solutions to business unit and facilitate agreement for solution selection and implementation.
  • Work with various groups to implement solutions that are in line with strategic goals and that specifically improve services.
  • Confer with personnel concerned to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented data models and statistics align with strategy owners.
  • Disseminate relevant data-driven strategic recommendations and gather leadership feedback.
  • Responsible for the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of a client's business needs and requirements.
  • Elicits, writes formal specifications, and communicates business requirements between development and client to design and
  • implement business solutions.
  • Develops and improves business processes within the technology and business organizations and understands client.
  • Requirements, specifying and analysing these to a sufficient level of detail to ensure clarity of definition.
  • Translates complex business requirements into technical solutions as required.
  • As a key contributor to our team, you will be responsible for crafting technical solutions pertaining to data extraction for M&A-D.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining a relationship with customers.
  • Uses a structured requirements process to assess near-term needs.
  • Adheres to metrics to ensure customer satisfaction and may recommend metrics.
  • Ensures change management and communication of change to team and / or client is done in a systematic way for complex projects.
  • Develops an in-depth awareness and understanding of multiple Thomson Reuters technologies, products, and services.

About You

  • Established background in an Agile environment with a proven understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • 5+ yearsexperience in business analysis techniques, such as eliciting requirements through interviews, workshops, process modeling and system or document analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with PowerBI.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and an advance Excel level.
  • Experience working with technical projects and project coordination with global clients.
  • Cost analysis and forecasting experience.
