This includes the creation, development, design, and improvement of products, software, applications, and services. These roles are responsible for the development of computer programming systems and applications including the design, coding, testing and deployment of products and solutions to meet business obligations.

As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Software Engineering Lead – Manager A software engineering lead is the delivery owner on one or more development projects; works closely with technical and business owners to ensure alignment; plans, oversees and reviews delivery of features; supports current resources and onboards additional resources; conducts quality reviews and develops guidelines and procedures; connects with the broader software engineering community for standards, methodologies, tools, training and collaboration for continuity, quality and re-use.

Responsibilities Participate in both technical and functional discussions relative to ongoing and future feature development Align software engineering teams with business goals Collaborates with technology owners and researches industry trends to assist project development and operational support activities Regularly analyzes current processes to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements such as reporting transparency, expanding capacity, reducing time and cost, and increasing effectiveness Communicate policies and standards to the teams Participate in planning sessions and anticipate future technology and feature changes to support the business Work with business solutions and technology architects to understand drivers, needs, strategies and implications to the application architecture Provide input to the development of project initiation documents including objectives, scope, approach and deliverables, when needed Provide support and guidance to the software engineering teams during the analysis, development and testing processes Provide expert knowledge of application architecture, and consult business and IT teams when application architecture knowledge is needed Create project and application deliverables that are consistent with development principles, standards, methodologies and best practices Communicate implications of development decisions, issues and plans Establish strong working relationships within individual software engineering teams Establish strong working relationships with the business, operations and other IT team members Participate in and support cross-team process improvement initiatives Ensure that IT is aligned to corporate directions Refine and enhance development methodologies and / or standards Develop application guidelines, standards, policies and procedures and disseminate to IT teams Ensure documentation is captured in a knowledge repository; publicize deliverable location to the organization as necessary Required qualifications & experience Oral and written English proficiency required C1 or C2 5 years of experience in information architecture. Minimum Bachelor's Degree is required in BS Computer Science, BS Information Systems or similar.

Understanding of relevant information system technologies and the agile software development life cycle (DevOps); including planning, execution and review (Scrum). Experience overseeing multiple large, diverse and distributed development teams; including onboarding, coaching and training Strong organization and communication skills with the ability to concisely articulate status, issues and risks. Highly competent in project and process management, planning, workflow, multi-tasking and problem solving, negotiation.

Experience working with cloud native technologies and PaaS offerings (Azure preferred) 8 years of hands-on development experience with . NET technology stack preferred; C#, SQL Server, Azure PaaS, Azure DevOps, Jenkins and CI/CD Pipelines (including YAML). 4 years of hands-on development experience with frontend libraries and frameworks such as Angular, React.js, and/or Vue.js 4 years of hands-on development experience in Cloud Platform is required (Azure, AWS and GCP).

Familiar experience with migrations with Python, Django, React. Optional: Experience working with cloud native technologies and PaaS offerings (Azure preferred); experience with Java and NodeJS. Minimum years experience required 8 years of hands-on software development experience and 4 years of hands-on Cloud Platform.
