Role Summary:

This role is part of Global Technology and Engineering Center (GTEC). The activities of this role are primarily focus on BOM Creation, Customer documentation & creation of engineering drawings. The incumbent performs engineering activities on time in accordance with quality requirements.

Responsabilities:

• Take ownership of engineering activities.

• Collaborate with BU’s and GTEC Engineers to improve the Customer Satisfaction and Employee Engagement.

• Have strong collaboration with project team.

• Follow engineering best practices and Flowserve standards.

• Work with other Design Engineers to promptly investigate & resolve shop floor problems relating to design or quality issues; record & report findings, make corrections & help develop and implement permanent, cost-effective solutions.

• Create engineering drawings, and other documents with the help of CAD tool.

• Generates bills of material for engineered products in accordance with project specifications and design standards.

• Delivery on time engineering deliverables.

• Make sure that all deliverables meet with the Zero-Defect Program.

• Meet with Engineering performance goals participating actively on office daily management meeting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.

• 0 - 1 years of related experience.

• Computer-Assisted Design/3-Dimensional design.

• Analytical, problem solving and computer skills.

• Good planning, time management and organizational skills

• Understanding of engineering documentation, drafting, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

• Basic English verbal and in written form.

• Continuous Improvement Knowledge and experience (Preferred).

• Good engineering subject knowledge.
