Opening Sentence:
A Technician Field Service Sr is a Donaldson technical representative that typically supports on technical questions to sales department, aftermarket representatives and final users. You´ll have the opportunity to work with multiple teams, strengthen relationships with customers, gain market share and drive new business growth across diverse markets.
Role Responsibilities:
- Carry out periodic inspections on customers site´s to identify opportunities
- Works directly with the Sales team to achieve Revenue objective
- Trains and assists Service Centers and Dealers
- Support product launch activities on new technologies being brought to the industry
- Understand the customers’ needs and link to the organization’s product/service strategies.
- Gains market information and competitive data to be used in the development of sales strategies, channel development and product portfolio content/positioning.
- Management of key services metrics
- Gives input to Sales area functions that grow market share and business profitability.
- Work cross-functionally with the Americas & Global team to identify new opportunities and products that will expand our market position and reach.
- Be the voice of the Customer by understanding current needs and communicating them throughout the organization.
Travel: Up to 50%
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor´s degree in engineering or related field.
- +3 years of experience as service engineer, maintenance engineer, or similar
Preferred Qualifications: (Max bullets per section 10)
- Experience in the industrial sector (diverse industries)
- Experience in maintenance in industrial equipments
- Technical aptitude – will have full technical support but needs to learn Aftermarket Industrial Solutions product
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively customers and cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented, with excellent organization skills
