About the role

Overall leadership of the site Tech activities and Support teams enabling the successful implementation of HALEON Tech Products ensuring alignment between business and Tech strategies.

This role is the key partner with the Site Leadership and larger Tech organization reporting into the North America Head of Tech role.

Key responsibilities

Establish a comprehensive Tech Strategy & Plan for the sites that (a) include full-set of activities required to enable business vision (b) take into account overall program loading / resourcing (c) aligns to global / divisional strategies.

Drive and monitor the overall program of Tech Projects delivering resources and global projects engaging with the site (both project delivered with local resources and global projects engaging with the site).

Ensure appropriate design for site projects and HALEON global products, ensuring adherence to all relevant patterns and standards.

Engage with service providers and global service providers to monitor performance and where required drive improvement to end-to-end Tech services supporting business operations.

Establish and manage on site Tech services (deskside support, tech ops and application service area) to ensure the required support is being provided.

Ensure Tech regulatory compliance and audit readiness.

Establish and manage site Tech strategy, program planning, project management, service management & risk management processes.

Coordinate and manage portfolio ROADMAP and Tech Opex and Capex.

This resource will be the key point of contact to support Brazil distribution centers in terms of HALEON Tech systems and infrastructure.

Primary accountability for managing the relationship between Tech and with senior site stakeholders (including SLT and site director).

Interface with / virtually manage multiple service providers in different geographical locations.

Lead cross functional teams to drive Tech service / process improvement project impacting business KPIs one or more CH Supply Chain sites.

Management of large site Tech projects.

Risk, & Compliance and site risk processes

  • Regular reporting of site Tech Quality, Risk, & Compliance Key Performance Indicators
  • Managing risk profile / pro-forma data ensuring that risk and compliance management tasks are undertaken in a timely manner via use of processes such as : Risk Management, Change Control, Compliance Management and Incident Management.
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with regulatory, statutory, health and
  • safety and other appropriate company standards, including local and corporate Tech policies and procedures.
  • Being responsible for the compliant update of documentation, polices, and procedures related to Tech areas of responsibility.
  • Auditing documentation to ensure compliance with procedural and regulatory expectation.
  • Being responsible for Change Control and Incident Management actions
  • Will champion continuous improvements that improve end-user experience, reduce risk and / or lower the cost of ownership of the overall business process / service on an ongoing basis.
  • Promoting good information practice, utilization of technology, business processes improvement, and alignment of practices within the managed Shared Services

Impact of Decisions

This role exists to ensure that HALEON is not hindered or prevented from carry out normal manufacturing operations by poor performing IT systems and services.

Many IT systems are critical to operations, so service and performance must be optimal, and scheduled outages must be agreed, understood, controlled, and tested to ensure HALEON can return to normal operations as quickly as possible.

This role should help ensure that this is the case.

EHS Responsibilities

  • Read and understand the EHS Systems documents and Operating Procedures relevant to your job role.
  • Support risk assessments, risk communication and action planning are completed in accordance with Risk Management practices.
  • Ensure that all incidents and accidents are reported to determine root cause and that any subsequent CAPAs are closed out in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate the right EHS behaviors and encourage others to improve our safety culture.

Quality Responsibilities

  • To be aware of and understand appropriate commitments / requirements of the Quality Management
  • System (QMS) & Information Technology Management System (ITMS).
  • Understand and follow the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice.
  • Take action to rectify or report deviations from GMP or the QMS.
  • Perform duties in accordance with the Site and Company Procedures
  • Represent the site(s) during inspections.

Problem Solving

  • Oversee the provision of IT services to site(s). These span complete Systems Development Life Cycle from initial requirements analysis, through implementation and operational support, to final systems decommissioning.
  • Maintain effective working contacts within the business areas supported and participate as required in the relevant business management meetings.
  • Assist the site IT management team with the definition and priorities of IT services required for the site.
  • Ability to take ownership of issues and see through to resolution. E.g. Participate in a group of technical experts from other service organizations to investigate and solve complex IT issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, adjusting priorities at short notice

Qualifications and skills

Essential

Graduated in Systems Analyses or Computer Science or Information Technologies or similar.

Experience of 5-7 years in similar function with Pharmaceutical / Consumer Healthcare Industry in manufacturing environment, good knowledge in terms of GxP / GMP processes.

Good communication and conflict management

Good Tech Skills to develop and monitoring of projects.

Tasks organization and cases priority.

Constant follow up with the Site Director, SLT and other Tech Partners.

Interaction with global Tech teams, Americas Regional Tech Team as well as in country Commercial Tech teams

Preferred

In-depth knowledge of E2E Supply Chain business strategy and processes.

Knowledge and experience of Tech strategy planning.

Knowledge and experience of effective service management approaches (eg. ITIL).

Knowledge and experience of effective Tech project and program management.

Knowledge of HALEON Tech project management processes and practices (Tech approval process and ITMS / IQMS).

Broad knowledge / experience of process improvement techniques and methodologies such as Agile ways of working (experimentation).

Knowledge and experience of effective Tech risk management practices and processes.

General Knowledge of IT / OT architecture and standards.

Detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements for Tech systems.

Strong English Language Skills.

Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish Language Skills (desirable)

IT Technical Knowledge (infrastructure, Network, Databases security, etc)

SAP Implementation (desirable)

SAP knowledge Implementation and operational knowledge (desirable)
