Telecoms Engineer

NES Fircroft is delighted to partner with a major oil and gas operator looking for a Telecoms Engineer to work on one of their key projects in Paris. The position will be on a 1-year renewable contract, and it comes with an attractive rate. As a Telecoms Engineer, you will supervise and coordinate the telecom engineering-related activities performed by the EPSCC Contractor. In your first few weeks in this Telecoms Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Provide support and expertise and contribute to his discipline
• Promote alternative designs to optimise cost, work and schedule
• Review and comment on engineering documents and consolidate comments related to telecom deliverables
• Prepare the deviation requests for FPSO Key Technical Requirements and follow up on the instructions from TotalEnergies Head Office experts to ensure timely answers
• Promptly respond to engineering clarifications, requests for deviations and unexpected technical issues proactively and proficiently
• Conduct studies leading to technical decision-making and issue of recommendation to Project Management
