DirecciónIf you’re ready to bring the best, come join the Supply Chain / Operation team as a Traffic & Transportation Specialist. You’ll participate regionally in exports to Central America and the Caribbean together with the Foreign Trade team, guaranteeing the “on time” of each delivery under the conditions of quality of service, safety, and cost, seeking the best “ways of work” with the foreign trade team under the KWS strategy, directly influencing the visibility and decision-making of the team to guarantee the operations.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Guarantee the fluidity of communication: between regional teams and the business unit. Foreign Trade, purchasing, internal control will be some of the teams to work with.
- Unit status tracking: ensure product availability and appointment fulfillment (On time) for suppliers that provide service.
- Ensure compliance: service of the different suppliers, times and costs, as well as being the “single contact point” for Customer Service & Logistic's internal suppliers and clients.
- Responsible for maintaining the catalog of transactions in SAP: for transportation module such as rates, terms and agreements (contracts) in conjunction with the purchasing team in all negotiations or enabling new supplier prospects in order to find the balance between expense and service
- Control and management of expenses: monthly provisions that guarantee zero impact on the Budget and 100% visibility over any deviation generated by the operation itself or specific needs of the business. Participation in the preparation of the annual freight budget for $726M.
- Management of visibility indicators: trend of the cost per kilo transported, truck utilization, variation in delivery points, and verification of opportunities, as well as other related KPIs.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, Foreign Trade or related field.
- MBA and/or experience with logistics projects
- Experience in strategy development.
- Experience with budget management.
- Advanced Excel
- Advanced English

- Work enviroment: Hybrid (3 days per week at the office + 2 days per week at home office)
- Location: Querétaro, Mexico or Guatemala
