PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Procurement Associate is in charge of processing and managing work package activities for a dedicated Region/Site/Project within Procurement organization.

• Suppliers

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES  

Project or Systems Development:

• Purchase Order (PO) Management: Non-Recurring Cost PO Creation

• Vendor Master Data: Vendor certifications follow-up for new suppliers

• Project Development:
  • First delivery follow-up for materials (First Article Inspection (FAI) or not)
  • Project Cost: Costed Bill Of Materials (BOM) report (currently tools used: Total At Completion (TAC) or Estimated At Completion (EAC))
• Project documentation
  • Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) documentation storage
  • CDRL documentation follow-up with supplier

Through the Project Execution phase:

• Project documentation
  • Gathering and consolidating the technical documentations for a project
  • Follow-up the documentation deliveries according to the planning from the supplier (Design For Quality – DFQ) or Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL)

• Project Cost:
  • Project Cost: Costed Bill Of Materials (BOM) report
• Vendor Master Data:
  • Vendor certifications follow-up

• New needs/Purchase Request Management
  • New requirements/parts analysis (Sourcing Acknowledgement Standpoint (SAS) in SAP)

• Request for quotation (RFQ) Management
  • RFQ data consolidation (Package)
  • RFQ Preparation
  • RFQ Analysis (build cost comparison)
  • RFQ for Catalog parts, C-Class

• PO Management
  • PO/Contract acknowledgement follow-up
  • Non-Recurring Cost (NRC) PO Creation
  • PO/Contract closing
  • PIR (Purchase Info Record) Mass upload file preparation / PIR creation
• Any other tasks related to Procurement support as requested by the Team Leader

• Key Job Authorities and Dimensions (Expenditure/Hiring authorities, total budget resp., team size; etc.):
  • Internal Control Compliance / Delegation of Authority (DoA) rules strictly applied 
  • Performance measurements: SLAs and KPI s defined for each work package

• Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.

 MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Mandatory:

• University degree – preferable in General Management, Supply Chain, Purchasing/Sourcing

Mandatory:

• From beginner to 3 years of experience depending on the work packages to be performed

• Professional certification in sourcing, purchasing or procurement is a plus.
• Purchasing, experiences preferred, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality

• Fluent in English and a second European language
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliable, autonomous, results and customer services oriented
• Have an interest in IT tools (e.g. SAP ARIBA)
