The Unison FP&A leader manages the income & cash related planning & reporting for Unison, and P&AT leadership. Responsibilities are focused on the forecasting, budgeting, & reporting processes, as well as a focus on leveraging LEAN principals to optimize and simplify the financial processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

As the Unison FP&A leader you will: 

  • Supervise 2 direct reports
  • Lead the Unison P&Ls in the timely planning and reporting cycles, facilitating and coordinating efforts across multiple teams to gather the required data
  • Own the consolidation and analysis for financial aspects of Unison’s monthly operating review (MORs) and Finance Weekly Operating Review (WOR)
  • Identify & prioritize key processes to be built out / automated to facilitate financial transparency & simplified reporting
  • Be responsible for Unison HQ’s planning, forecasting, and pacing during each quarter, leveraging data & operational expertise to determine and articulate material variances, risks & opportunities
  • Support the Unison CFO in the preparation of presentations and backup materials (MORs, WOR Budget, ad-hoc) required to communicate the financial position to P&AT and GE Aviation HQ
  • Solicit feedback on planning & reporting cycle performance on a regular basis and modify/streamline processes as needed
  • Ensure accuracy of the organization's financial results by recognizing and preventing misrepresentation, concealment, or omission of information
  • Maintain systems & processes for analyzing and reporting operating results to management
  • Drive engagement & proactively engage with cross functional business teams to articulate financial positions & the impact of decisions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting from an accredited university
  • 6+ years of experience
  • 4+ years of experience - FP&A
