The Design Researcher is a person with profound expertise in User Experience (UX) and a strong background in quantitative analysis. The role involves leading research initiatives, gathering user insights, and translating complex data into actionable recommendations to enhance our product experiences. The researcher will leverage their extensive experience in UX research and proficiency in data analysis to conduct data-driven decision-making processes and shape the future of our products and services.

 

Main responsibilities:

·         Lead end-to-end research projects to uncover needs and behaviours from users through collaboration in a mixed methods UX research team.

·         Design and execute user studies, usability testing, and surveys to collect relevant data and insights across multiple platforms and devices.

·         Analyze large datasets using statistical tools to derive meaningful insights and trends.

·         Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Designers, and Technology to integrate user feedback into product development processes.

·         Communicate research findings and recommendations effectively through compelling presentations, reports, and workshops.

·         Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX research and data analysis to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

·         Conduct Design Thinking or Design Sprint workshops for stakeholders and teams that help us to find solutions that add value to our products.

·         Promote the understanding of the user experience strategy within the needs of our clients to improve or create digital assets as well as experiences.

 

Solicitud

The role holder needs to have knowledge and experience in the following areas:

·         Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Information Science, or a related field.

·         Proven experience (+5 years) in UX research, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful research projects and impactful insights.

·         Deep understanding of research methodologies, experimental design, and statistical analysis techniques.

·         Proficiency in data analysis and data visualization, with experience in manipulating and analyzing large datasets.

·         Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify actionable insights.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate research findings and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.

·         Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating within cross-functional teams.

·         Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

 

Qualifications

·         Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as R Studio and/or Python.

·         Familiarity with NLP and ML techniques for analyzing user feedback and  behavioral data.

·         Previous experience in SaaS or digital product development environments.

·         Advanced degree or certifications in UX research, data analysis, or related fields.

·         Proficiency in English and Spanish.

·         Experience in ideation, creation and implementation of digital products and services.

·         Experience with digital and apps ecosystems, desirable banking, or finance knowledge.
