Value Stream Manager

• Develop and maintain production schedules in ERP system in support of productivity and customer delivery requirements.
• Issue and maintain production work orders and Purchase Orders in support of the production requirements
• Manage open Purchase Orders for on-time deliveries, including pull-ins, pushouts, and cancellations per MRP messages.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels for production requirements while maximizing inventory turnover
• Identify improvement and cost savings opportunities within Materials / Operations Departments; participate in lean supply chain initiatives.
• Report and take immediate action on all material shortages
• Manage the cross functional communication necessary to establish excellent internal customer service.
• Continually educate oneself on purchasing and planning skills as well as lean operating methodology
• Support new product introductions with Sales and Marketing collaboration.
• Maintenance of the ERP system and key scheduling/buying parameters
• Resolve discrepancies with logistics, pricing and accounting issues with Supplier. Coordinate the return of the material to the Supplier if appropriate. Assist with inventory discrepancy investigations.
• Report out/support key operation metrics.

• Able to effectively interface with all types and levels of internal and external individuals, and resolve customer issues, balancing needs of customers with business objectives of Company
• Good planning and organization skills; self-starter with solid problem-solving ability
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related field, but will strongly consider someone with 10+ years' experience in lieu of degree
• Additional Licensing or Certification in Purchasing and/or Inventory Control Disciplines a plus
• Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
