Value Stream Manager

Accountable for all operational results (Safety, Quality, Production, Cost, and Service) across the Value Stream.

Accountable for reporting and delivering all KPI's which drive the operation to continuously improve, ensuring the VS supervisors and VS Champions maintain all key KPI data & visual management boards.

Plan, coordinate and lead the Value Stream team in ensuring the continuous smooth flow of production to meet customer needs, product quality standards and Site / Value Stream goals and objectives, from raw materials reception to finished goods shipment.

Define and deliver Continuous Improvement Plans for the Value Stream from future state maps.

Champion kaizenk events with focus on continuous improvement and productivity initiatives; Support lean initiatives by leading/facilitating kaizen events.

Prioritize and task manage Value Stream support teams to perform against KPI's and budget.

Accountable for contact between the Value Stream and all external stakeholders in the production process (shared resource manager, sub-contractors, external logistics personnel) in terms of delivery performance, quality issues, and flow between the facilities.

Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, Engineering or similar discipline.

Comfortably fluent in communicating in both Spanish and Eng.

Certificate in Lean / Six Sigma / Problem Solving (preferred)

5 years minimum exp in a manufacturing environment.

3 years minimum exp in a Leadership position is preferable.

1 year exp in the Medical Device Industry desired.
