This position will be quality leader in designated focus factory or function. Responsible for daily tactical issues related to quality issues in functional area.
Mentor / supervise Quality Specialists to achieve continuous improvement in assigned areas. Lead & conduct process improvement efforts as an individual and through teams to complete initiatives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Review metrical performance of manufacturing system to determine top issues needing resolution;
- Design, implement, validate, and report on systems that improve the metrical performance of the plant as issues are resolved;
- Act as primary quality resource and exhibit leadership for the Management Team with respect to quality policies and standards;
- Manage (internal and external) customer and supplier relations, expectations, and needs;
- Assignments as required.
Job Requirements / Working Conditions :
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
- Current / Former Certified Welder
- Able to read / interpretate blueprints. (Weld / Machining)
- Willingness to travel internationally for training (USA) 10-15%
- Preferred : Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent certification and VT / MT / PT certified or knowledge of how to perform NDT method and interpret findings (VT- Visual, MT- Mag Particle, PT- Liquid Penetrant Testing)
- Excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills required.
