vHive is seeking an experienced UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) expert to support and train
vHive’s customers and partners all over the world.
Duties include but are not limited to:
● Providing effective field operations support through multiple communication channels to certified drone pilots that are using vHive’s autonomous data acquisition application.
● Becoming an expert in the functionality of vHive’s mobile application and troubleshooting issues that pilots encounter in the field
● Assist pilots during online training sessions on the use of the vHive Platform and conduct Q&A sessions for advanced topics
● Working closely with the R&D team to communicate and manage application related issues, from detection to resolution, and some field testing as needed
● Collaborating with the development team to identify and prioritize feature enhancements based on user feedback and field observations.
● Develop advanced tools for tracking and reporting frequency of issues encountered by pilots
● Contributing to the creation and maintenance of user manuals, tutorials, and other educational materials to support pilots in maximizing the capabilities of vHive application.
Desired applicants would ideally possess:
● Prior experience in providing technical support or customer service within the drone industry, particularly with a focus on software applications.
● Excellent communication skills and an adept troubleshooter who can quickly identify and resolve technical issues in real time
● Continuously expanding knowledge of drone technology advancements, industry regulations, and best practices to stay ahead of the curve and provide informed support and guidance to users.
● Familiarity with drone data processing and analysis software to assist pilots in maximizing the quality of their aerial data.
● Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders, balancing the needs of pilots, development teams, and management.
● Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing user inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring that all user inquiries and issues are addressed promptly and accurately.

REQUIREMENTS
● Valid Drone Pilot certificate
● 2-3 years of experience in flying drones
● Good understanding of Photogrammetry principles
● Experience with DJI consumer and enterprise drones and applications
● Knowledge of flight controls, aerodynamics, aviation weather and safety, Autonomous Drone applications
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Fluent in English required, Spanish- Highly desired, French and Portuguese are a plus
● Available to work in shifts for a limited period to support projects in different time zones across the globe
● 1-2 years of training experience
● Software experience including Microsoft Office, Google Drive, JIRA,
