Warranties Quality Engineer

Main Objective

Provide support in the implementation and improvement of quality control systems. Coordinate customer failure reports (0km) and deploy the required procedures per specification. Report continuous improvement actions to reach customer excellence.

What challenges will you have?

• Address quality issues through efficient solving problem methodology to find the root cause for concurring events.
• Coordinate and management of quality strategies applied in the supply chain.
• Engagement with the chain value engineer on the technical and systematical analysis of warranties.
• Coordinate and support the development of 8D according to customer specific requirements.
• Administrate and provide maintenance to the failures notifications (QC’s) on SAP system and client’s portals.
• Coordinate activities related to customer complaints due to 0km, field faults and internal faults.
• In charge to follow up on lessons learned and corrective actions throughout the plant from client’s complaints.
• Monitor the quality functions in process and finished product.
• Coordinate and give follow up on any plan of activities to improve the quality of processes and products.

Who are we looking for?

• Academic Background: Mechanic, Electromechanic, Industrial Engineering degree or similar.
• From 2 to 4 years of experience in the Automotive Industry in similar positions
• Advanced English level is a must

Technical Knowledge

• Knowledge in 8Ds methodology
• Risk Analysis
• Problem Solving
• Core Tools (AMEF, SPC, Control Plan)
• Knowledge on client’s portals is a plus.
