Accountant Sr - Finance

SUMMARY

Journal Entries, and period close activities according with GAAP and company policies.

Analytical reviews of different Functional Areas ensuring the compliance of Sox controls.

Administration of our master reconciliation system, periodic maintenance of accounts and users. Inter-company balancing, reconciliation and correction. Integrity of Sales process.

Accuracy of revenue accounts. Period close activities, Allocations, Interfaces analysis, Recurring Entries. Financial Statements analysis and review.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• ANET Administrator's role - users maintenance as well as accounts groupings, exchange rate's updates, ANET vs PS balancing, and preparation of an informative Dashboard sent to the controllers, in order to measure the completeness of all the reconciliations
• Sales Process- analysis of Sales information including our more than 5000 US stores, assure the accuracy of our GL information. Sales Closing coordination between the different areas during our period close. In charge of the Sales Accrual.
• Suspense Accounts Reviews, Recurring Entries, Interfaces and Allocation analysis
• Preparation of accruals, as well as diverse journal entries and several activities related to Period Close.
• Inter company grouping's analysis, this includes corrections between the different BU's if necessary. On charge of Mexico's inter company invoices with USA
• Expenses, and Functional Areas Reviews

REQUIREMENTS

• Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
• Area of Study: Finance -Accounting
• Years of Experience: Two to three years.
• Type of Experience: In Finance - General Accounting
• Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Windows - Excel
• Other/Preferred: Master's Degree in a Financial Area
