DirecciónIn this role you will have an opportunity to support Advanced Technology team in activities related to new advanced technology projects for jet engines - like Hybrid Electric and Hydrogen Powered Engine. Additionally, the position will involve support of design teams in activities related to New Technology Introduction programs, you will work on multiple module components and testing hardware development. Also, there will be an opportunity to support development of new tools and procedures improving mechanical analysis. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and has the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Execute the analysis (structural Finite Element Analysis, hand calculations).
- Recommend approach to meet the technical and program requirements.
- Implement plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and contract commitments.
- Participate as a presenter in technical reviews.
- Monitor and effectively communicate projects status, issues and significant developments.
What we expect from you?
- MSc/BSc in Engineering
- Experience (design engineer, FE analyst) relevant to indicated position, areas of expertise and knowledge of disciplines like numerical methods (especially strong understanding of Finite element Methods principles). Understanding of the design and analysis tools relevant to the function.
- Good knowledge of the engine architecture is required.
- Demonstrated good written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced FEA skills especially in ANSYS
- Knowledge of static, dynamic and kinematic analysis
- Must be independent engineer that executes with minimum guidance
- Communicative level of written and spoken English language
