We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of

Analytics ManagerCompliance Assurance

Role purpose:

Provide dedicated support for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) models with ISO20022 data flow change project, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, project timelines, meticulous data analysis and validation, comprehensive documentation of ISO20022 processes, and collaboration with stakeholders. This role plays a key part as independent lead in risk assessment, database management, user acceptance testing cases creation, and staying informed about ISO20022 standards and regulatory changes. This position ensures the organization’s sustained compliance, operational efficiency, and successful navigation of data system change (ISO 20022) related challenges and opportunities.

Main activities: 

  • System understanding and dependencies with a specific focus on the databases in use across all AML systems.
  • Data relationship mapping to ensure data consistency and integrity from source system to downstream user tables.
  • Data migration planning/support, requirements gathering, building validation /testing plan, ensuring a smoot transition from legacy system to cloud base system.
  • Data documentations for the databases, including schema, relationships and data flow to facilitate better understanding.
  • Provide technical Support for AML Model Validation, ensuring that databases meet ISO20022 guidelines.
  • Data mapping and integration to meet ISO20022 standards.
  • Collaboration with database administrators to implement best practices in line with ISO20022 guidelines.
  • Continuous assessment of databases and their relationships to adapt to evolving ISO20022 criteria.
  • Provide technical Support for Model Validation, ensuring that databases meet ISO20022 guidelines.
  • Understanding Transaction Monitoring models and methodologies.
  • Coordinating projects aimed at aligning methodologies, governance documentation and policies.
  • Understanding of monitoring customer behavior and AML scenarios.
  • Interpret regulatory requirements and their impact on the models.
  • Identify and develop processes improvements opportunities.

Solicitud

  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in data analysis and/or application development in a financial institute or an equivalent large institute.
  • Have the experience of building system understanding by reaching out all the stakeholders, requirement gathering to meet regulatory standards, building a validation/testing plan, testing the enhancements, and owning and ensuring the product quality through its life cycle.
  • Experience of problem solving, conflict resolution by suggesting innovative solution, should the project struggle to move forward.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
  • Strong documentation skills and project coordination
  • Demonstrate analytical thinking, sound judgment, critical analysis, attention to detail and provide value-added advice.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities (written and verbal) as well as the ability to deliver information in an understandable manner.
  • Interest in the Financial Industry and AML concept understanding.
  • Understanding basic of SQL and should be comfortable with fetching data from the database to carry out validation.
