Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for applications and service in the assigned region, providing expert applications advice as well as technical service support to our distributors and customers
• Understand customers' applications requirements and issues, develop suitable process recipes, and make appropriate recommendations on solutions and equipment to achieve their desired results
• Conduct applications and equipment demonstrations in the lab and on-site. Generate reports in support of pre and post sales activities.
• Support the set-up, inspection, and testing of new equipment at customer locations to ensure proper installation.
• Provide technical support, training, and advice to distributors / customers on use and maintenance of equipment, both in-house and at customer locations
• Serve as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
• May be assigned to specific customer accounts as the primary technical support contact.
• Establish preventative maintenance schedules with customer.
• When not traveling may be required to participate in 24/7 phone support.
• Other duties as required by management, including travel and support outside own assigned region

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical or Materials Engineering
• 2 - 3 years experience in the electronics manufacturing environment with knowledge in relevant Nordson systems and equipment preferred.
• Process engineering experience in SMT and Semiconductor packaging would be highly valued.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

• This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment
• Physical demands associated with this position include extensive walking, standing, lifting & carrying heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
• Hybrid (office, WFH, and customer site)
