The Opportunity

This position works out of our Mississauga location in the Vascular division .

Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for treatment of vascular disease.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and drive to work towards achieving company vision, objectives as well as divisional mission and strategies.
  • Participate in the development of local marketing objectives, strategies, and ensure their execution.
  • Evaluate the practicality and potential of new products and market development.
  • Develop annual sales volume and profit forecasts, pricing and expense budgets.
  • Forecast product requirements, identify potential supply issues, and develop contingency plans.
  • Participate in planning sales promotion and advertising in support of existing products, and determine market strategies and sales tactics to achieve product objectives.
  • Develop, implement and update product training to sales force on an ongoing basis.
  • Manages the responsible operational budget effectively.

Required Qualifications

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in commercial related positions or projects.
  • Experience working with medical devices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good understanding or qualifications in marketing related principles, strong numerical skills.
  • Drive for results.
  • Innovation and initiative.
  • Strong Influencing and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer focused; comprehensive industry knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of computer-based programs including spreadsheets and graphics.
