The Opportunity
This position works out of our Mississauga location in the Vascular division .
Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for treatment of vascular disease.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and drive to work towards achieving company vision, objectives as well as divisional mission and strategies.
- Participate in the development of local marketing objectives, strategies, and ensure their execution.
- Evaluate the practicality and potential of new products and market development.
- Develop annual sales volume and profit forecasts, pricing and expense budgets.
- Forecast product requirements, identify potential supply issues, and develop contingency plans.
- Participate in planning sales promotion and advertising in support of existing products, and determine market strategies and sales tactics to achieve product objectives.
- Develop, implement and update product training to sales force on an ongoing basis.
- Manages the responsible operational budget effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in commercial related positions or projects.
- Experience working with medical devices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Good understanding or qualifications in marketing related principles, strong numerical skills.
- Drive for results.
- Innovation and initiative.
- Strong Influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Customer focused; comprehensive industry knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of computer-based programs including spreadsheets and graphics.
