Mission/Purpose of the Job:
Vacuum Technique is concluding an acquisition project in Mexico to increase our footprint there. The Business Controller/Integration Manager will
- set up the financial reporting & systems and control processes in the acquired company.
- guide the integration process as set out in the integration plan and secure the operational synergies defined in the Valuation Model.
Selected candidates will receive more information before the first interview upon signing Non-Disclose Agreements.
Exemption Clause: In case a candidate from a different home country applies and is successful, then “Local plus terms and conditions” will apply.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive the cultural integration by representing Atlas Copco Group core values and respecting the existing culture at the same time.
- To understand the reporting system of the acquired company and convert it to Atlas Copco financial reports in line with IFRS and The Way We Do Things, along with the required non-financial reporting
- To manage the financial team and be responsible for the whole accounting and financial processes
- Through accurate, relevant, and timely business & financial analysis, support general management in making effective business decisions.
- To secure that adequate internal control processes are in place and that Group processes are implemented.
- The Business Controller will participate in business activities and thereby actively contribute to developing the business by the strategy and targets and raise “red flags” to operational and/or holding management whenever compliance with sound business principles is at risk.
- The Business Controller will also be responsible for the financial coaching and development of the Management team.
- Integration: Steer and guide the General Manager of the acquired company of the integration processes, together with the integration team.
- Compliance: actively audit and secure full legal compliance in the acquired company.
Education Level:
Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or accounting
Relevant Experience:
Strong experience in finance and business control
Experience in Customer Center operations and/or acquisitions is an advantage
Language Skills:
Fluent in English and Spanish
