TubeScience is looking for a talented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our thriving team!

We're a data-driven video startup based in LA that's grown to become the largest producer of video ads on paid social in the 4 years since founding. Collectively, our videos account for ~5% of all paid video views on Facebook and Instagram in North America and reach 100-200 million people per day.

What You'll Do: 

Our company is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst who will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and visualizing business data to help the organization make informed decisions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in data visualization and dashboard story-telling techniques, with a strong background in business analytics and a good understanding of e-commerce and advertising industries.

Responsibilities

• Work with the business stakeholders to translate internal briefs into analytical projects (to include refining the initial brief and asking the ‘right questions', working through potential hypotheses and storyboarding the output)
• Provide insights through data analysis and transforming data into compelling and understandable visualizations 
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that help stakeholders make informed decisions
• Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and patterns in data, and provide recommendations for process improvements 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions
• Work with Enterprise Data Warehouse team to ensure data quality, consistency, and availability 
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in business analytics and data visualization

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business analytics, computer science, statistics, or a related field 
• 3+ years of experience in business analytics, data visualization, and dashboard story-telling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights 
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker 
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously 
• Experience in the e-commerce and advertising industries is a plus 
• Willingness to work with a global team and adapt to different cultures and time zones
