As a Business Operations Lead, you are responsible for driving the right processes and development for the site to operate efficiently, while adhering to Intel's culture and values to deliver excellent results on every project. You will collaborate with GDC site leadership to build a robust organization, establish priorities for the site, achieve results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance. In this role, you will be an integral part of the site leadership team, driving multiple initiatives to further develop and strengthen the site.

Typical duties may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Translate business unit needs into infrastructure requirements, such as building and office assignments, and manage changes in group size and placement.
  • Foster Intel's culture and values across all site organizations as a member of the site leadership team.
  • Lead initiatives that have a significant impact on site development and value.
  • Ensure compliance with Mexican laws by partnering with local leads on matters related to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), Security, Finance, Legal, and others.
  • Act as an interface between the Business Unit and Corporate Services, JLL, EHS, Security, Company medical doctor, and the Works Council for all operational matters and responsibilities.
  • Hold Site Management meetings and identify and follow up on action items and other Business Units' needs.
  • Be a point of contact for various external requests.
  • Analyze, design, and implement processes to optimize operations.
  • Handle HC, spending forecasts, and budget reconciliation and planning as part of Plan/Plan Of Record (POR)/Update.
  • Be responsible for tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs)/quality of service indicators (QoS) and other organizational initiatives.
  • Lead staff meetings, plan weekly agendas, and follow up on action items.
  • Coordinate high-level forums, such as Open Forums, Managers Sessions, Leadership Meetings, and others. Prepare presentation materials, facilitate sessions, and manage logistics.
  • Lead the GPTW group, organize activities, communicate budget allocations, and drive initiatives to enhance the workplace environment.
  • Complete high-level activities directly for Intel's GDC GM.
  • Collaborate directly with the broader organization and staff to help set priorities, identify gaps, define organizational development actions, establish project progress frameworks, and drive group initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with academia, government, industry, and ecosystem partners to support the site's objectives.
  • Drive talent development initiatives, both internal and external, to attract, develop, and retain talent.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


Minimum Qualifications:
 

  • Advanced English proficiency.

  • 3+ years of experience in building and managing dashboards.

  • 3+ years of experience working on projects management.

  • 3+ years of experience working with Windows PowerPoint and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:
 

  • 3+ years of experience collaborating with others, across organizational boundaries, and with senior managers to achieve results.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field and/or equivalent.

  • Demonstrated project management skills, including effective planning, organizing, and stakeholder management.

  • Proven experience in negotiating and resolving issues with diplomacy and persuasiveness.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Fundamentals in Teams, Skype, SharePoint.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
