About you and this role

We are looking for you, a motivated bachelor/master’sstudent, to support our Finance organization by doing an internship project in Product Marketing and Lifting Agreements (PMLA) for our location in Terneuzen, The Netherlands from June to September (exact duration will be discussed).

The department that will welcome you is the Finance Compliance Group for the Product Marketing and Lifting Agreements (PMLA). The PMLA team ensures that Dow complies from a finance point of view with all the requirements stipulated in the agreements with our major joint venture in Saudi Arabia.

Project description

Our day-to-day activities are unique as we cover a broad range of activities. Our main responsibility is to ensure that the revenue and related cost data for the PMLA sales are complete and accurate at a very detailed level.

Therefore, during your internship at PMLA you will assist or replace team members. You can expect to:

• Perform data analysis and verifying its accuracy and reconciliation.
• Monitor monthly KPI Reporting.
• Provide reporting and analyses to management on request.
• Closely collaborate with multiple stakeholders not only from finance but also from other departments within the Dow organization.

Qualifications

• A bachelor/master's student or equivalent in business administration, accounting or economical field.
• A good working command of English.
• A good knowledge of MS Office.
• Outstanding organizational and analytical skills and a capacity to learn and articulate complex matters.

• Team player and excellent interpersonal skills
• Understanding of internal controls requirements and sensitivity to compliance.
• Commitment to deadlines.
