YOUR TASKS

• Lead the Development team and coordinate the Mechanical, Electronics, Optical, Simulation and Software domains in Lamps development projects.
  
• Ensure the technical realization of the product development projects achieving legal and customer requirements and timing and cost milestones.
  
• Responsible for the coordination and analysis of the technical requirements of our customers and the development of the system concept with an interdisciplinary team consisting of hardware, software and design.
  
• The evaluation of technical changes and the development and implementation of appropriate solutions.
  
• Bundle the know-how of the functions represented and represent these functions in the project team and in the direction of the customer.
  
• Define the system breakdown in terms of hardware, software and design and commission their project-specific development System characteristics.
  
• Analyze correlations and effects and ensure the reliable realization of system properties and release defined component configurations after testing.
  
• Analysis & alignment of legal, safety, customer and HELLA requirements
  
• System Requirements Specification
  
• Leading the DFMEA activities
  
• System Integration Planning
  
• Technical Reviews & Product Release

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• A completed degree Physics or in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electronics Engineering with a reinforcement in the areas of design, lighting technology or electronics and strong analytical thinking.
  
• More than 7 years of experience in the development of electronic, optical or mechanical systems and an expert in at least one of these disciplines.
  
• Capability to lead multi disciplinary and multi location teams, manage budget, resources, define timing plan and prioritize activities to achieve customer and internal milestones.
  
• Capability to handle the customer.
  
• Fluent English as well as a high disposition to travel and mobility.
  
• Self-initiative , organized and ownership.
