Your team responsibilities
As a Client Data Operations analyst you will be responsible to monitor our automated data pipelines, detect issues in the infrastructure, carry out analysis in data or infrastructure and coordinate with other specialized teams to resolve issues.
As part of a global professional team , you will learn and work together with experts as well as have exposure to our analytics clients.

Your key responsibilities
• Monitor expected jobs start within reasonable time, escalate late arrival risk to relevant team
• Closely coordinate on a daily basis with Client Data management support teams , react to late start, SLA miss due to issues at data translation level
• Monitor actively running jobs for system slowness, network, infrastructure issues. Monitor failed jobs, and jobs with errors, Escalate potential SLA miss to agreed parties
• Understand fundamental technical background of workflow components; be able to categorize issues by high-level root cause ( platform, infrastructure, network, content )
• Act as Level 0 support for troubleshooting certain basic issue categories
• Remediate certain basic issues by a variety of predefined strategies ( rerun, minimal changes to content, file naming conventions etc. )
• For issues requiring specialized product knowledge, escalate issues to relevant teams ( TCS - Platform, MSD - Content, MSOS - Infrastructure )
• For ongoing issues, follow-up on internal teams on ETA, progress, updates. Keep all other parties updated
• Understand tools, systems used by Managed Solutions ( Internal MSCI ETL tools like CDMS Bridge, ACD tool; systems like Airflow, WCS, Splunk etc. ).
• Communicate with clients, set expectations on SLA misses, ongoing issues
• Construct and communicate comprehensive RCA to client , integrating inputs from various internal teams
• Ability to generally understand new, unseen problems and route them to the right specialized Level 2 support team for further investigation
• Based on root cause, work with relevant internal teams to address reoccurring issues to keep the solutions "clean" and low-maintenance
• Design and code new tracking , analytics solutions to increase efficiency of reoccurring tasks, responsibilities
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
• BA degree in technology/science/business administration, preferably data analytics, IT, computer systems
• 2-4 years relevant job experience in process automation, networking, programming, IT systems, analytics
• Experience in Python/.NET/Java is a plus
• Experience in Azure Monitor/Splunk is a plus
