Contract Logistics Safety And Health Manager

Your Role

The Health and Safety Manager provides advice on QSHE matters, in connection with Local and International Legislative Framework and Health and Safety Policy. Carries out audits to ensure that Safety and Health controls are adequate and maintained as intended and reports audit findings to operational managers and the national QSHE team, ensuring actions are identified to mitigate risks and follow up.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to ensure Safety and Health controls are adequate and maintained as intended.
• Report the inspection findings to operational managers, and national QSHE team, ensure the actions are identified to mitigate risks and follow up.
• Analyze KPI’s and findings and suggest strategic actions  to improve HSE management systems
• Support and monitor SHE training programs and deliver Health and Safety orientation, No harm, security awereness, safety anchors and mandatory safety  trainings to the employees
• Support all tasks necessary for continuous improvement of the HSE management system in accordance to applicable regulations and standards (ISO14001, ISO 45001, Ecovadis, Sedex, BSCI, etc.).
• Create awareness and positive acceptance of the QSHE programs.
• Prepare SHE -related instructions up to date in colloboration with National QSHE team
• Support the organization and the QSHE team by being aware of and adhering to the requirements of Integrated Management System

Your Skills and Experiences

• Engineering Bachelor degree or equivalent through experience
• Experience in pharma logistics is highly preferred
• Minimum 5 years experience in HSE establishing and maintaining management systems preferably in health logistics
• Knowledge in National Environment, Health and Safety Regulations
• ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 internal auditor certifications and experience in auditing
• Safety Specialist Certificate B level is required
• Advanced level of English and Turkish is a must
• Proficient in MS Office Applications and PC skills and proven reporting skills.
• Ability to travel and having B class driving license
