Your Role
Your primary objective will be to develop existing or new
Contract Logistics business by coordinating all
Business Development actions and triggering opportunities for larger accounts at a country or cluster level. You will do this by working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with our current commercial policy while focusing on the following key objectives.
Your Responsibilities
- To develop and manage a sizeable pipeline of opportunities, actively driving each opportunity through the
entire Customer Engagement Cycle. - To lead commercial negotiations and create high quality business proposals.
- To actively develop and maintain customer contacts along with a network of prospects.
- To actively network and link with other colleagues (Subject matter experts, Vertical Specialists, Account
Managers) at every level of the organisation, from global to regional to country. - To highlight achievements in the Business Development space using a variety of dynamic tools.
- To capture and manage business and market intelligence, ensuring the communication of same to key
stakeholders. - To drive and roll-out yearly Business Development plans.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Over 10 years experience as Contract Logistics Business Development Manager
- Strong knowledge in Contract Logistics Solutions
- Good command of English
- Strong analytical / presentation skills
- Solid negotiation skills
