- Develop and implement strategies to safeguard and enhance the company's reputation within the challenging landscape of an over-regulated industry.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and public perception to proactively address potential reputation risks.
- Develop a communication strategy that helps promote our smoke-free vision to relevant stakeholders.
Develop and implement the communication plan for Philip Morris Mexico
- Develop and implement an always-on Corporate Communications plan that stands on its own.
- Foster positive relationships with media outlets and industry influencers to ensure accurate representation of the company's activities and initiatives.
- Respond promptly and effectively to media inquiries, balancing transparency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Internal communication to go external
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent and transparent communication about company initiatives, regulatory compliance, and industry developments.
- Develop and implement internal communication strategies to foster employee understanding and alignment with corporate messaging.
- Develop and maintain a crisis communication plan to address potential reputational threats swiftly and effectively.
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience in corporate communication roles, preferably within a global company and over-regulated industry or in a media outlet.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks and their implications for communication strategies.
- Proven experience in data handling and analysis of opinion surveys.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights to drive effective communication strategies.
- Knowledge of analytical tools and platforms to support a data-driven approach in communication decision-making
