Job Summary
As Credit & Collection Junior Analyst you will provides support to the Credit & Collection area of Mexico, regarding activities which include but are not limited to uploading invoices and documents to customers’ platforms, payment application, help in accounts reconciliations, reports, collection of necessary documents and information to support collection activities. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the credit collection team and will also be responsible for a group of customers, following established procedures and guidelines, ensuring policy compliance.
The position is based in Polanco, Mexico and reports to Credit & Collection Manager
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
As Credit & Collection Junior Analyst you will:
- Support the Credit Collection Team in credit control and collection related requirements.
- Help in accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare reports on status of credit collection activities.
- Implement group policies and guidelines regarding credit control and collections.
- Support, as required, in overview and follow up of accounts receivable aging analysis and days sales outstanding (DSO).
- Control and follow up (overdue, ageing, days sales outstanding) on group of accounts to be assigned.
- Prepare documentation and information for credit analysts.
- Participation in improvement projects for the market or customers.
- Support in follow up of early payment discount programs for customers assigned.
- Ad hoc follow up and investigations related to credit and collection.
- Support in accounts clearing and application of payments.
- Upload of invoices and documents required in customers’ platforms.
- Support in collection forecast.
We believe you have
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related.
- Intermediate English and Advanced Spanish, written and verbally.
- Experience of 1 year preferably in Credit & Collections area, or related area, in a worldwide company or local large company, doing similar functions. Internship or social service will be considered as well.
- Strongly desired to have experience in an industrial or manufacturing industry.
- Good communication skills, fast learning ability, oriented to work independently, deliver results and customer oriented.
- SAP and Power BI knowledge is a plus.
- Good Excel knowledge, be able to manage dynamic tables, graphics & formulas.
- Good Microsoft office knowledge (Word, Power Point).
