Data Engineering

• 5-12 years of overall IT experience with Big Data, Hadoop, Spark, Scala as primary skill set and Java, PLSQL, MQ, Qlik View, BI Tools (Qlik and Power BI),etc. being the secondary skill set.
• Knowledge on technologies running Java based applications in LINUX/UNIX environment.

·       Sound knowledge on Juniper, Airflow and Control-M scheduling tools.

·       Good knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle, Unix, shell scripting, monitoring tools like App Dynamics/Splunk.

• Open to work in shifts / non-regular hours / weekends as per business requirements.

·       Should be open to learn new technologies based on project requirements.

·       Ability to prioritise and work independently within a diverse team environment. 

·       Good communication skills and be a team player of global team.

·       Proven experience of working in RTB / Production support teams.

The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:

• Bachelors of Engineering preferred
• Experience with Big Data (Hadoop) principles is preferred.

·       Hands-on experience and sound understanding of HSBC and ITIL, processes and standards.

·       ITIL Foundation certification preferred.

• Knowledge of IBM Websphere Application Server, IBM’s Infosphere Information Server and IBM’s Master Data Management platform, Websphere MQ.

·       Knowledge and understanding of Banking domain and IT Infrastructure is preferred.

·       Good to have knowledge of Google Cloud Platform.
