We are responsible for delivering value by providing safe, efficient, and effective procurement and real estate services to Thomson Reuters businesses and functional operations.

About the Role In this opportunity as aDirector, Services Sourcing - ITyou will: You will be a member of the Technology Sourcing Leadership team reporting to the Technology Sourcing Vice President and your primary focus will be to lead a team of Sourcing Managers and Associates to

a) deliver and optimize software renewals and purchases on behalf of TR globally and b) deliver IT Sourcing services and analytical support to the existing IT category teams through a Center of Excellence model. You will be responsible for the effective and timely delivery of projects against their timeline and plan and to coordinate a group of sourcing professionals to drive results in alignment with the category strategies

You will lead the development of the Procurement function and the delivery of procurement consultancy services in accordance with industry best practices enabling value creation to the business. You will lead ongoing improvements in sourcing capability and maturity at Thomson Reuters by executing best-practice sourcing methodology and standards and will develop your team to become a high performing team driven by excellence principles around strategy creation, data quality and effective execution and reporting. You will lead sourcing projects and programs spanning low/mid budgets, one-year/multi-year contracts, and low/mid risk profiles for the business.

You will serve as internal business subject matter expert in a couple of domains or service areas, providing guidance and policy awareness, analyzing feedback for program enhancements, managing different tools and working in conjunction with internal partners and suppliers. You will ensure to continuously deliver flawless and frictionless customer service performance from your teams. You will lead a team of 8 FTEs operating from Mexico, India and the US.

About You You're a fit for the role if your background includes: You have a minimum of 8-10 years global experience, working in matrixed teams, Procurement and Sourcing teams.

You have the ability to constantly drive and deliver results, reduce downtime to the business and avoid barriers to productivity. You are capable to plan and prioritize effectively and then efficiently manage yourself, your team, other resources, processes, and tools to successfully deliver value creation projects. You have a sound understanding of and can apply most elements of the strategy development process with the ability to execute it.

You are able to assign work, allocate resources, monitor results, control costs and manage staff on multiple projects. Functional experience applying sourcing methodologies (e.g. 7 steps) to different categories of spend in the IT/Technology domain and managing a large range of stakeholders. Fact-based savings results through complex negotiation processes for IT areas of spend.

You have a positive attitude to work and win in teams. Leadership: Capable of delivering through others, act as a role model, create synergies, obtain the best from the team members and keep an energized and connected team. You are experienced in managing and leading change, delegating, and empowering others to increase their contribution and keep people accountable.

You can build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders and ensure Procurement Sourcing operates seamlessly and meets the needs of our colleagues and organization. You have excellent verbal and written communications skills in English, and adaptable for non-native English speakers. You hold a Master's degree in either: Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Project Management or Business Administration.
