Dirección The Electrical Engineering Professional is responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
General Responsibilities

- Creates designs within inter-disciplinary teams to address complex product design and manufacturing challenges
- Leads feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs
- Develops testing, engineering analysis, qualification testing, production launch
- Responsible for failure analysis investigations and engineering evaluations
- Maintains product documentation (drawings and specifications) and lessons learned; produce design reports, test reports, operating manuals and test procedures
- Leads a team that includes senior engineers/managers for the purpose of engaging with customers in soliciting product specifications requirements, schedule expectations and budget
Experience / Qualifications
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results

- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

- Support NPD Design projects
- Perform design verification on original and/or derivative design ideas using analytical and experimental methods e.g. FEA & FMEA
- Conducts feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs. Directs support personnel (technicians) in the preparation of detailed technology selection, conceptual design, detail design and prototyping
- Development testing, engineering analysis, qualification testing, production launch
- Resolves problems of limited scope using engineering fundamentals. Executes scripted Design/Process Validation (DV/PV) testing with limited support.
- Complete Failure Analysis investigations and engineering evaluations
- Maintain product documentation (drawings and specifications) and lessons learned
- Direct interaction with customers to solicit product specifications requirements and schedule expectations.
- Proficient understanding of electrical engineering principles, PCB design, circuit analysis, electromagnetic compatibility [EMC], microcontrollers, time and frequency domain analysis, etc.
- Strong presentation skills - Ability to clearly present design concepts to customers, managers, and peers verbally and using formal presentations
- Basic understanding of design tools such as Matlab and Minitab
- Proficient with the use of SPICE software [LTSpice, PSPICE, Multisim, etc]
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with superiors, peers, suppliers and customers
- Able to meet tight deadlines and work to targets
- Client focus – understanding and meeting customer needs.
- Problem-solving and judgment – ability to assess options and implications in order to identify a solution.
- Ability to offer innovative solutions – adapting to change, leading the change process
