About the role: We are looking for a reliable manager that will analyze every day financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to the Regional management on future financial plans. The main goal for LatAm is planning, forecasting, budgeting, and other ad-hoc analytical activities that support business decisions in order to meet the company’s objectives.

RESPONSABILIDADES / MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performance Reporting: Deliver regular performance reports to European headquarters, highlighting key financial results and business drivers.
  • Budget & Forecast Management: Develop and manage the annual budget for the LATAM commercial sales team, providing detailed variance analysis and forecasts.
  • Sales Support: Provide financial insights and support to the LATAM commercial sales team to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Strategic Analysis: Conduct strategic financial analysis to identify opportunities and risks within the LATAM market.
  • KPI Development: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to commercial sales and financial performance linked to ongoing projects.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial targets are met and strategies are effectively implemented.
  • Market Analysis : Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and Financial Planning.
  • Pricing Strategy: Assist in developing pricing strategies for wine & spirits to maximize market share and margins.
  • Cost Control: Implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor expenditure against budget, reporting any discrepancies.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy of reporting.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, including cluster Director , CFO and the sales team.

REQUERIMIENTOS Y HABILIDADES / REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

  • Proven experience as a FP&A Manager in multinational companies.
  • Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as a financial analyst in wine and spirits or consumer goods industry.
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
  • Proficient user SAP.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
  • BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
  • Fluent English speaker and Spanish native.
