Job Description: Production Floor Manager Company Overview: Aleph Integrated is the staffing business partner of a thriving food processing company in Cleveland, OH. Is known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and a dynamic work environment. As a part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Floor Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our operations. Position Overview: As a Production Floor Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Production & Packing Team Members. The primary focus is to ensure the smooth flow of products down the packing line, working closely with Operations Management to achieve production goals. This role requires effective communication, leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a high-performance production environment. Responsibilities : Manage hourly team members for Packing and Production Teams. Collaborate with Team Leaders and their teams to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly output goals. Communicate production goals, facilitate the work, and ensure positive reinforcement. Enforce company policies and accountability, recommending discipline when necessary. Select, orient, and train team members, focusing on attendance and punctuality. Verify and approve work hours for employee timesheets. Facilitate each team's execution of the daily and weekly production plan. Ensure the operation of equipment by coordinating with the Maintenance Team. Collaborate with the Food Safety Quality Manager to enforce safe production processes. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree preferred; extensive work experience may be considered. 10+ years of experience, preferably in the food processing industry with plant management experience. Continuous improvement experience is required. Knowledge of food safety, quality, productivity, and sanitation processes. Computer skills including MS Office. Ability to lead a team effectively. Ability to thrive in a fast-growth, high-pressure environment. Excellent communication skills. Bilingual – English/Spanish communication skills are required. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of the job, the employee may stand, sit, walk, use hands, reach, climb, balance, and lift up to 25 pounds. The employee must frequently use a computer and other special operating equipment. Vision abilities include distinguishing flavors and odors. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and hot liquids. Note: Relocation to Cleveland, OH, is required for this position.
