South American company with over 15 years experience in the sale & service of forestry equipment is looking for his next GENERAL MANAGER for South America.
Area or place of work: Located in México, Panamá or Tacarembo,Uruguay (Availability to travel frequently to countries in South America)
Salary: $8,000 a $10,000 USD + bonus (depending on level experience.)
The main responsibilities of the position are:
- Administering the Administrative, Financial, Legal, and Commercial areas.
- Enforcing the rules, policies, and procedures determined by the board of directors.
- Developing and controlling the annual budget.
- Reviewing the company’s financial statements.
- Defining and implementing the business’s general strategies in the short and medium term.
- Preparing and presenting performance reports to board members.
- Ensuring the business’s objectives are met.
- Maintaining contact with suppliers and clients at a regional level.
- Designing promotion and communication strategies with clients and suppliers.
- Supporting the sales team in opening new sales channels.
- Developing and supervising staff.
- Promoting communication between departments and providing feedback.
Bachelor’s degree in administration, finance, industrial engineering Degree or related fields, it would be advantageous if he had an Agri, Mechanical, Forestry Engineering or similar degree.
Minimum 5 years of experience, working in the heavy equipment market in the forestry, mining, construction or agricultural sector, where needs to have worked for in a Managerial position with various staff reporting to him.

Fluent Spanish and English, business level.
