The Opportunity:

The position is responsible for delivering  engineering solutions and excellent execution for new products, growth initiatives, sourcing strategies, safety and quality across the Biscuits BU.

Responsible of providing leadership and technical resource capabilities, ensuring execution of capital investments, and all benefits according to CAPEX on the biscuits BU.

This position is also a key member of the engineering process leadership team, accountable for technical strategies, savings programs and capital investment within PMF Business units.

Your Impact:

As SC Eng Assoc Manager your responsibilities would consist of

• Promote Safety awareness at all stages of Global Engineering activities (C,E)
• Develop and execute strategic capital investment plans with annual and three year visibility (E)
• Estimate capital expenses for feasibility/projects/CAR’s (C,E)
• Coordinate the development of the business unit capital plan (E)
• Manage the planning, development and execution of capital programs-projects as support of business units (D,E)
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on capital investment (E)
• Develop the better strategy and perform the required complete project to give the company the infrastructure and best technology to produce big bet products as SCT. (E)
• Perform the required plans to contribute with the company to achieve the productivity goals (E)
• Implement the growth core product projects for Emperador, Marias, Marshmallow & Chocolate.  (E)
• Continue with the manufacturing footprint strategy making the line movements according with master plan and Footprint productivity. (E)
• Implement the new technology on automation for process on Oven, Forming and cooling. As well as all handling and distribution on packaging for Cookies & Crackers. (E)
• Provide coaching and mentoring that includes developmental plans, training, resources and opportunities (E)
• Assess the talent of the team to ensure bench strength (E)

Who Are We Looking For?

Experience   

• Mechatronic engineers, mechanic engineers, electrical mechanic or similar 
• 5+ years experience in automation projects 
• AutoCad 
• Desirable Matlab
• English intermediate/advanced 
• Anticipate impact and implications of departmental actions on other areas of the organization
• Communicate major new company directives to suppliers and indirect reports.
• Act as a liaison between the department and plants or Business units in the organization
• Make strategic decisions considering immediate and long-term implications, according to Scope on CAPEX and leading projects.
• Communicate the strategic vision to suppliers and peers on different departments and obtain their input and commitment, motivating them to work toward common plans and objectives
