The ideal candidate for the Sales Manager role at XXXX International will be a strategic thinker capable of identifying business opportunities that align with our capabilities and strengths. In this position, you will play a crucial role in managing the customer service team, fostering its growth, and allocating resources as necessary to ensure topnotch customer service and sales support. Your responsibilities will extend to overseeing and driving project initiatives from conception through implementation, while concurrently serving as a commercial representative for highprofile customers.As the Sales Manager, you will collaborate closely with our engineering team to ensure the successful delivery of features and projects within set timelines. Working in tandem with operations, supply chain, marketing, and support teams, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of customer needs. Your keen eye for problemsolving will be instrumental in identifying and resolving issues to deliver tangible benefits.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Strategic Business DevelopmentIdentify and pursue new business opportunities in alignment with the companys sheet metal fabrication capabilities.Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the customer base and achieve sales targets.Lead efforts to diversify and strengthen market presence, with a focus on both local and broader markets.Team Leadership and DevelopmentManage and lead the commercial team, customer service, and aftersales teams.Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, providing guidance and support to team members.Develop the skills and expertise of the team through training programs and mentorship.Customer Service ManagementOversee the customer service team to ensure the delivery of exceptional service to clients.Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, acting as a point of escalation for customer concerns and inquiries.Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.Sales SupportProvide support to the sales team by assisting in the development of sales strategies and tactics.Collaborate with the sales team to prepare and present proposals to potential clientsEnsure effective communication and coordination between the sales, engineering, and production teams.Project ManagementManage and drive project initiatives from conception to implementation, acting as a liaison between clients and internal teams.Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that project deliverables meet customer expectations in terms of quality and timelines.Act as a commercial representative for highprofile customers, addressing their needs and concerns.Crossfunctional CollaborationCollaborate with operations, supply chain, marketing, and support teams to gain insights into customer needs and market trends.Work closely with the engineering team to align product features with customer requirements.Identify and address challenges in collaboration with different departments to improve overall customer satisfaction.Problem Solving and Continuous ImprovementProactively identify and solve problems related to customer service, sales, and project management.Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the sales and customer service processes.Communication and ReportingMaintain clear and open communication channels with team members, clients, and internal stakeholders.Provide regular reports on sales performance, customer service metrics, and project status to senior management.Handson EngagementEngage directly with customers to understand their needs and address any concerns or issues.Utilize handson skills to assess project requirements and provide practical insights to the team.TravelBe willing to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and address customer concerns.

EXPERIENCE WILL INCLUDE

Proven track record of successful sales leadership in a sheet metal fabrication or related manufacturing industry.Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.Indepth knowledge of the sheet metal fabrication industry, including processes such as forming, punching, laser cutting, and assemblyExperience in electrical assembly and finished good sales and distribution as a service is a plus.Familiarity with industry trends, materials, and technologies.Strong experience collaborating with different departments, including operations, supply chain, engineering, and marketing, to achieve common business objectives.Track record of proactively identifying and solving problems related to customer service, sales, and project management.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to highprofile customers.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a diverse audience.Practical experience and handson skills in assessing project requirements and providing practical insights to the team.Management experience including a strong ability to prioritize, plan, organize and executeTechnical andor Engineering degree min. 2year degreeWorking in a technical or engineering environmentStrong strategic and analytical skillsExperience in relationship management including strong customer service orientationBolsa de trabajo Estados Unidos ofrecemos puesto de Gerente de ventas para el sector de Ventas en la empresa Sonitronies, S. de R.L. de C.V. de .
