We are looking for a Global Sales Account Manager! (Remote, global)
This will make you happy:

  • Experience in magnetism? That would be superb! If not, no problem! You see magnet technology as a great addition to your already built-up expertise. You will be working in a special world: there are not many companies like Bakker Magnetics that are specialists in the field of magnetic applications. Magnetism is becoming increasingly important, for example electric driving and other innovative means of transport, medical applications and recycling.
  • You are a strong communicator and a serious sparring partner for the customer. This means you can give clear and thorough advice. You have a pleasant way of communicating; whether you negotiate with customers or share ideas in the team, your communication skills and persuasiveness make a big difference.
  • You absolutely love the combination of commerce and technology! You do not sell a standard product, but a custom-made solution. You can rely on the in-depth expertise of your colleagues in Son (The Netherlands). In this role you are the connecting factor between the development of our product and the market.
  • Collaboration is key for you! You enjoy working together with the engineers and production. You also have contact with your purchasing colleagues. This allows you to keep your knowledge of the product up to date and you can quickly connect with colleagues for their extensive product knowledge.
More about the position: 

In this challenging role you are the driving force behind identifying new opportunities, and building and maintaining sustainable relationships with (potential) customers. You proactively investigate new opportunities in the market, you focus on acquisition and you know better than anyone what is going on with existing customers. You make sales plans, manage the sales process, conduct market research and are the point of contact for the customer. In this position you report to the Managing Director.

This is you:
  • At Bakker Magnetics, we 100% believe we are successful if we are result-, customer- and solution-oriented, if we are proactive, feel responsible and work together. Together with a commercial drive and entrepreneurship, these words describe YOU!
  • Bachelor working and thinking level, at least 3 years of commercial experience in a trade or technical environment
  • You have excellent communication skills, at least in English. German and/or French are an advantage.
  • You are available full-time.
