Hr Generalist/Specialist

Based at our manufacturing site in San Nicolas De los Garza, Nuevo Leon, this full-time (Mon-Fri) permanent Human Resources Generalist/Specialist role will report to the site HR Manager. Joining our on-site talented and friendly HR team, we want you to bring your acquired knowledge and enthusiasm to support us to deliver the people strategy whilst continuing to develop your knowledge and experience.

The HR Generalist/Specialist supports the implementation and administration of various agreed HR programs and/or activities. The role works within well established guidelines and under readily available advice of other HR professionals to provide general HR support to the organization.

You will be responsible for:

- Supports the HR and/or line organization to provide professional HR support in all operational/administrative HR issues related to agreed activities. These may incl. various or single aspects of union, recruitment, training, organization development, data collection and employee relations programs.

- Secure, that activities are carried out according to agreed HR processes and policies and are compliant with legal requirements.

- Act as speaking partner to HR and/or line management/employees providing expert assistance and guidance for assigned activities.

- Propose local adaptation to harmonize and/or improve process delivery.

- Contribute to overall HR process delivery with input or as process member.

- Applies and maintains relevant tools and systems Participates in projects. Monitoring and evaluating HR analytics to prioritize project development.

- Contributes to a service culture to fulfill the service level agreement.

With a proactive approach to work with effective planning and prioritizing abilities, you will have:

- Previous experience in manufacturing environment and union management.

- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Human Resources, Business or Human Relations).

- Experience of working with and developing employee handbooks, policies and procedures. Knowledge of Legal requirements, Mexican labor law, union and legal compliance, wellness programs, payroll regulations.

- Experience of working with HR systems. Essity works with WorkDay, so if you have experience with this HRIS then great, but otherwise we can train you.

- Excellent Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills.

- Accuracy and good attention to detail.

- Professional approach to work, respecting confidentiality.

- Ability to effectively work in changing environment, using your naturally strong communication and listening skills.

- Advanced English Level.
